    An orange-red water based food coloring that is naturally derived from the seeds of the achiote (Bixa Orellana).  It will impart a bright color ranging from yellow to dark orange red, similar to saffron and turmeric. Ingredients: Extract of Annatto, water and potassium hydroxide Directions: Add prior to calcium chloride and rennet.  Dilute color with soft or distilled water.  Add to milk until desired color is achieved.  A 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of milk is a good starting point.  Add more if a darker color is desired.Storage: Store tightly closed in a cool, dark, dry place. Will last indefinitely.
