Nelson Sauvin™ Lupulin Pellet Hops
Lupulin is the small yellow glands inside of a hop cone that contain alpha-acids and essential oils. Through proprietary processing, Hopsteiner is able to separate the lupulin glands from the bract to provide a higher concentrate pellet containing less vegetal matter and more of the resins that boost flavor and aroma. Lupulin Pellets™ are a great option for your late hop additions and for dry hopping. A high alpa acid hop from New Zealand. Nelson Sauvin is a highly prized, dual-purpose hop that has been used in a wide range of styles by craft brewers. It has a distinctive aroma, similar to Sauvignon Blanc wine or crushed gooseberries. Notes of passionfruit and tangerine are apparent as well. Nelson Sauvin has a low cohumulone content, which imparts a smooth bitterness. Progress (UK) Pellet Hops
Hop Type: Dual-PurposeOrigin: EnglandAlpha Acid: 5.0 - 8.0%Similar Varieties: Fuggle, East Kent GoldingCommon Styles: Bitters, Pale Ale, India Pale Ales, Mild, Brown Ales, and Scottish Ales Progress was one of the first varieties to come out of a modern breeding program in England. Its lineage includes Whitbread Goldings and O.B.79, making it cousin to Target. Developed to create a very English Fuggle-like impression in the glass. Moderate to strong suggestions of spring grass, herbs, and fresh flowers overlaid on woods and dried mint. Adds nice floral and grass/herbal complement when blended with fruitier varieties (think EKG or Sovereign) for late and dry hopping. Very fine as a late kettle, hop back, or cask addition in the hoppy English trifecta: bitter, pale ale, IPA. Progress has a high enough alpha content to also perform light bittering duty in mild, brown, and Scottish ales. Adds a nice element to brown porters. Like Fuggle, does well as a single hop or component of a blend.

Origin: A triploid variety bred from Southern Cross and a New Zealand male, Moutere™ was released in 2015. Motueka™ Lupulin Pellet Hops
Motueka from New Zeland is the result of a breeding program aimed at creating novel aroma hops that impart unique flavors to beer. Against a background character reminiscent of its Saazer parent, Motueka offers vivacious notes of lemon, lime, and tropical fruits. The moderate alpha acid levels make it suitable for a wide range of applications, and it produces excellent results when employed in multiple additions. It offers a balanced bitterness that integrates well with high gravity brews and nicely compliments strong malt characteristics like sweetness and body. While typically used in traditional pilsners and Belgian ales, Motueka is gaining popularity in the American craft brewing scene. It's now being used in an increasingly wide range of American, English and continental styles, including, of course, the IPA.
