This compact stir plate works with Erlenmeyer flasks up to 5000mL in size. Depending on the volume of your yeast starter, you can use the adjustment knob to dial in the speed of the stir bar. It is recommended using just enough power to keep yeast in suspension, a full vortex isn't really necessary. Note: Pictured flask not included.
