Chinook has a high alpha content of 11-14%. This American dual purpose hop delivers potent, smooth bitterness. The flavor and aroma are pungent, with suggestions of mountain pine and resin (especially as a dry hop) and notes of citrus and fragrant dried herb in the background. Useful in styles such as pale ales, IPAs, and lagers. 

Cascade, Magnum, and Nugget hops are the recommended hops for beginner growers.
