Specifically designed for our Tank Bottom Drain Boil and Solo kettles, this racking arm is the key component to make sure you take only the highest quality wort to your fermenter and leave hops and trub behind in your kettle. Teflon gasket with 304 stainless mesh screen for 3" tri-clamp connections. Can be used as a filter screen to trap large particulates passing through T.C. fittings. Often used for distillation to retain activated carbon for filtering neutral spirits or used in pot distillation to retain botanicals in the vapor stream. The screen has a mesh size of 7 which will block particles larger than 2.83mm or 2830 microns. This slightly larger mesh size makes this screen ideal for use in a distillation basket. 15 psi Pressure Relief Valve
When pressurizing your Spike Conical you'll always want to use a pressure relief valve (PRV). This will prevent the tank from being over pressurized and causing a potential failure to occur. This Spike Brewing PRV was developed with their OEM specifically to work with their CF series Conical. It will keep your tank below the 15psi max working pressure rating. 3/8" x 1/4" BSP reducing bushing made from 304 stainless steel. BSP vs. BSPPBSP (or BSPT) fittings have a tapered thread and require teflon tape to form a seal between the male and female fitting. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" and 3/4" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.
