Description
Breeding/Development: USA. Zappa™ is a native, North American, Humulus lupulus variety, neomexicanus, recovered from the wild in New Mexico. Named after Frank Zappa, in collaboration with the Zappa family, this hop is as counterculture as the musician himself.
Brewing Application: Aroma, whirlpool, and dry hopping for any hop- or complementary fruit-forward style: hazy or milkshake IPA, fruited sour, pale ale, American strong ale, and wild or mixed-fermentation beers.
Sensory: Spicy with strong notes of tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), citrus, and pine. Additional descriptors include savory, mint, and Fruity Pebbles™.

- Alpha Acid Range: 6.0 - 8.0%
- Beta Acid Range: 8.0 - 9.0%
- Co-Humulone as % of alpha: 40 - 45
- Total oils mL/100 gr.: 1.8 - 2.5
All hops are nitrogen flushed during packaging to preserve freshness.
